Business going into insolvency?

July 22nd, 2008 by aron

Go and Seek Legal advice

When your company is going into insolvency or is very close to going into insolvency you should go and find legal advice as soon as it is possible to do so. The difference of know what is going on early in the proceedings can not be stressed enough it will help you no end. A good insolvency team will be able to help with:

  • Bankruptcy and Individual Voluntary Arrangements.
  • Company Reconstructions.
  • Retention of title claim issues.
  • Business and asset sales.
  • Administrations, Voluntary Arrangements and Receiverships.
  • Wrongful trading, preference and misfeasance claims.
  • Creditors and Members Voluntary Liquidations.

Being issued a disqualification proceeding?

If a company is going into insolvency the director of the company may be facing a disqualification proceeding. If this is happing to you as always you should seek legal advice as soon as it is possible because a good legal team will fight I your corner fighting to negotiate a shorter disqualification period they will all so be able to advise you on the merits of the allegations made against you, helping you decided whether it is a good idea to carry on.

As I have stressed before, as with any legal situation, insolvency or director disqualification is Series business and you should seek legal advice as soon as possible, because what you might save on a good lawyer you will lose in not knowing what you are doing.
